Denture
A denture (also known as “false teeth” ) is a prosthetic appliance that is worn to replace missing teeth. They can be taken out and put back into your mouth when needed.
At Smiles Dental Lab we fabricate two types of dentures.
- Full Denture usually for seniors that replaces all natural teeth.
- Partial Denture fits around some of the remaining teeth and the unit is held in place in the mouth by clasps or metal clips
Our dentist will help you choose the type of denture that’s best for you .
Denture Care
- Dentures can break, so use full sink of water, then clean your dentures over the sink to avoid a slip out of your hands and breaking it.
- Rinse your dentures thoroughly to remove loose food particles. Use cool or warm water. But never use hot water – it can warp your dentures. Brush all surfaces thoroughly.
While you sleep at night, soak your dentures in a cleanser.
Similes Dental Care always recommend Smiles dispensed denture baths ,cleansers and wipes for long-lasting and sparkling dentures .

- Avoid using brushes with stiff bristles, as they can damage the denture material.
- Brush your gums, tongue and palate with a soft-bristled regular toothbrush to remove plaque and stimulate circulation. Then reinsert your dentures.
- To give your mouth an extra, fresh clean feeling, rinse with a mouthwash several times a day.
